Having had the misfortune of spending time around people within Farages last party UKIP (one of my old friends was a senior member of the party and MEP), and having had conversations with them in pubs after a few beers, none of this is a great surprise. This was low hanging fruit for Channel 4, not a stitch up just an easy way of exposing the fact that Farage tends to attract considerably more than his fair share of racists, islamophobes and homophobes.

I don't think it's just he was an actor, but that he was using a different voice to his normal one. Although that now seems to be possibly not actually the case...

Regardless, as others have said, this isn't surprising, they have plenty of history in this regard.

Hahaha. Nice one. Farage said he was an actor and things don’t add up. He did not directly accuse but that is absolutely what we was doing. I expect it was lawyer checked to make sure it was just about okay.
