If you are genuinely against racism rather than just a flag of convenience then this issue should have been delt with as soon as it came to light.

Everything since then can be seen as a cover up, it makes a hero out of Tommy Robinson rather than taking the wind out of his sails. Labelling everyone concerned about this issue as far right is as stupid a tactic that I can imagine. I also see this as primarily a class issue in not dealing with it.

You’re correct in that the Tory’s should have dealt with it.

As for the rest? Your usual hodge podge of nonsensical bollocks.

Firstly - no-one has labelled 'everyone concerned about this issue as far right'. What people like Starmer has said is that people like Badenoch are just quoting the far right.

When you say 'not dealing with it' - what is it that you're referring to? As others have posted, and the evidence shows - there have been plenty of prosecutions and a number of inquiries / reports. What further were you expecting to have happened?

This is the bit i struggle with. The right wing views on stuff are so similar to Islamist.

Homosexuality, corporal punishment, capital punishment, role of women etc. so many views of the Islamists chime with the reform views of the “good old days”
Thats because they have their roots in a common religious narrative that claims some supernatural entity has created humans, given men (and I mean men and not humankind) the ability to claim to know what this entity wants, convinced women it's a good idea to let the men run with this and that anyone who defies the men controlling the narrative is actually having a pop at the entity and deserves everything they get.

There is another thread about God and there is lots of live and let live about "I'm not religious but I respect the right of people to be". This is fine and I agree in principle but beliefs inform actions and actions have consequences. Pottering off to church, the synagogue or the mosque may be a harmless act of ritual for many that do it but the associated thinking around morality, behaviour and what God wants and is going to do is not. It informs how people vote, how they treat others and how they behave. We're lucky we have cast off some of the shackles of religious extremism in our everyday life here but it's still there under the surface in politics and it's why in America, Christian Nationalism is such a dangerous development.

everyone agrees something should be done. current government says they will follow recommendations and i believe they will.

talking about a cover up on an issue with half a dozen inquiries and commissions, regular media articles over the years is just daft. it raises the question why are you and fellow travellers so very very concerned about this particular injustice. why only in the context of these specific rape/grooming issues, and not a wider general concern on abuse? the logical conclusion is this focused on because of the racial element.

It only makes TR a hero for the very very very thickest members of society and frankly for them if a cockapoo suddenly managed to utter the words "Islam is bad" they would follow him too.

But people who support him are really, really thick and deliberately targeted.

Sorry to call it out. It's how populism works all over the world, make sure you get the stupid people voting for you first.

If someone had actually done this then it would be. But they haven’t.

Oh, I dunno. Completely misrepresenting what someone said, just to fit your own agenda and argument, is pretty facking STUPID :dunce:

Along comes Crawley Dingo to show us how all this bullshit and misinformation is swallowed, making this batshit insanity possible.

There isn't a facepalm big enough.

We really have jumped the shark people.

Andrew Tate's political party 'Bruv'.

I wonder if he will hold another referendum into grooming and sexual assault (including trafficking). Or does he wait for the end of his trial for grooming and sex trafficking?

How will Crawley Dingo know which right wing Dingo to vote for?

Musk posted a list of MPs this morning claiming they had voted against deporting foreign rapists.

Got the reaction he wanted including a number of fuckwits in the UK.

The list was actually a screen shot of a letter from MPs urging the government to not deport 50 victims of the Windrush Scandal back to Jamaica.

His post is still there, he couldn't give a toss.

Apparently Musk thinks that a guy who’s on trial for sex offences is the perfect person to be British PM and deal with sex offenders. The stupid is so strong it burns.
