not sure what happened in first season in Bundeliga with 2 goals in 30

Did ok in 2nd division 14 in 27

Then 6 in 15 back in Bundesliga not too bad stats.

Doesn't suggest is the out and out goal scorer so maybe more to come in ?

Well l'd say they were pretty encouraging stats, any striker would be pleased with a ratio of roughly one goal in every mother game, especially so early in his career.

Do we need a player tied to his mother’s apron strings?

It looks as though he was injured for a fair chunk of last season, and when he did play, he tended to play wide rather than through the middle.
I would say given he is young, and was no doubt not at his full potential last season due to injury, that is a pretty impressive return.
Being picked ahead of the likes of Angel Di Maria for the national team is also surely a very positive sign - Di Maria is still a top-tier player, despite what we saw of him in the premier league at Utd!

Yes just like "I dont hate icecream" could mean "I really really hate icecream", its unlikely however. Not sure how much Naylor really know about anything but I think those words imply that the deal is far from done.

Naylor hasn’t been in the know ever since the Albion players names were printed on the front of the Argus for that sex scandal in the hotel.

Looks like we're in with a shout of buying the man Argentina just picked ahead of Barcelona-bound Sergio Aguero.

Zamora re signing for me blew Naylors credibility.

More recently Mackaill-Smith was the one that Naylor got completely wrong, but he was just back from holiday, so may have been out of the loop.

Good player but still a support striker rather than an out-and-out goal scorer.
Simy from Crotone to play with him and I’m all over it :lolol:
