There is clearly some concern by some players within the camp but why can they not deal with their issues internally rather than keep running to the Argus at every given oppurtunity?? Its hardly helping the situation at the club or fits in with the term 'professional footballer'

It is clear that all is not well within the club and I wonder how long it will be before Nicky Forster asks for a tansfer or is sold by DK for upsetting people. The more you read the more it seems that G O'C WAS saying what others are thinking.

Hardly along the same lines is it ?

To me the whole story sounds like Naylor making the most of a soundbite from probably a very small part of what Forster said. O'C seemed much more directed at the chairman and he had his own agenda behind it.

Probably would pay all the players to say nothing right now as Naylor is clearly smelling Knight's blood and is determined to go in for the kill.

How long? We can only live in hope that DK becomes Life President and allows somebody else to take over the club.

Who though? The current board are putting in with no return and any member of the board who steps forward will be working with the same financial constraints as DK.

Other investors well where are they not exactly lining up at the door and to be fair who in their right mind would at the moment ??!! Any money put into the club at present would probably be classed as a charitable donation rather than a sound financial investment!

Dick Knight needs to sell :bla::bla::bla::bla::bla:

Even if there are lots of mega rich moneymen wanting to invest in a football club, what makes our club more appealing than the other 60 in the game that need investment.

Oh yeah i remember, the fickle fanbase who after 6 months will moan that we are not bidding for Drogba

We are not privy to all the information and the goings on within the club and do not know whether there are no investors interested,or whether they are not interested under the terms that DK imposes, if in fact he does. I would think that he is an obstinate man who wants to be in charge of 'the sinking ship' when we finally dock at Falmer, but then again I do not know him personally. What I do know is that 'tip top' said on here that the Blooms and Norman Cook will not put any more money into the club.

That is the Blooms and Norman Cooks decision perhaps they have other investments to look after that they can see a better return on their money for.

Do you really think something as big as someone possibly investing could be kept under wraps. I mean Gold only mentions in passing on a local radio station that he may one day consider investing in a club and in minutes Naylor has a page on the argus that he is taking over the albion.

I have read a lot of your comments on DK and to be fair they seem more based on paranoia and your own unfounded opinion of Knight rather than having any substance

I would say that at a time when clubs are hard-pressed for money, and clubs going into administration is now considered the norm. The fact that this club, playing in a temporary ground, with high costs and having the shortfall of the costs of getting Falmer, being able to still be in a position where we are still paying money for players says alot about how well this club is actually being run.

Dick isn't the most switched on man when speaking to the media, and sure maybe has made mistakes on some players contracts or transfers in the past. But as far as i'm concerned over xmas and in transfer window he has dealt with Bas, O'Callaghan and now hammond in the only way he could. And if he decieded to f*** off we would be in the shit

The biggest concern for me here is, why is Wilkins allowing his players to go out and stir things up with the local newspaper? The way he handles players off the field is a cause for concern, e.g, arguements with Cox and Robinson, allowing GoC to say what he said about Dick Knight. Under previous managers this sort of thing never happened ( except Leon Knight - Twat ).

Wilkins should take responsibility for what his players say about, not only the club off the field, but the chairman as well. He is obviously upset about losing players he had, but when players speak badly of the club you have to question what is going on with him. Allowing a player like Forster to say what he said leaves a bad and negative atmosphere around all areas of the club and will only lead to worse feelings and ultimately results.

To be fair O'Callaghan had no right to, he wasn't a Brighton player and spoke out of turn.

surely that is worse though - o'callaghan disrupting the squad was not a problem as he had played his last game. forster is our most important player...
