Nicky Forster- Dropable?

He needs the ball on the ground, and I don't think anyone in the current midfield can give him that. As such, he will start to look like a far worse player than he really is.

Huh? How did you surmise that?

If he can only deal with the perfect ball, along the ground, then he's not much of a football player - and I doubt he would have been ever selected as a striker with that sort of handicap!

Well, I dont see what harm it would do to play savage for one game. He looked very livley. He put forster through on A few one on ones which he really should have scored. I like forster, he wil turn into a good player for us and the goals will come. It may do him good.

Pardew got the best out of Forster by playing him in a 4-5-1, with attacking wingers.
Hit them on the counter, Bobs your uncle.

That's ok if you have wingers. :glare:

Of COURSE he is undroppable.

What - are we suddenly going to revert to the goalscoring sensations of LAST season then ?

Easy Droppable.
Let him go on a free and get an unknown Irish kid in.

We tried to get an Irish kid in a couple of years ago but he preferred to stay in Ireland.

So how does that explain yesterday's piss-poor efforts on goal, of which there were at least three clear chances at close range on his right foot? ??? (unless he's left-footed of course)

Correct Tom, he had the service, 3 one on one's when clean through and he shot each time like he had a severe case of Arthritis.
