Literally none of our players are ‘tearing up trees’ at the moment so hardly like it’s 4 players who are horrifically out of form is it, let’s not try and make it out like this isn’t exactly what it is. Ill judged from those involved, but at the same time it’s really, really not a massive deal. We’ve seen pictures of Lewis Dunk out clearly on the sauce, nobody bats an eyelid.

Also, let’s not pretend that at some point in our lives we haven’t all done daft things that had they been caught on camera we’d probably think ‘oh crikey what was I thinking’

Whilst I agree with a great majority of this ... most of us aren’t Premier League players in a relegation battle.

Like I said it’s not a huge deal, but considering the circumstances they are idiots.

FFS. Now it matters, whatever individuals on here think. Bloom and Barber will be livid. Sponsors unimpressed etc.

It was always going to be a major sporting news story. I am amazed so many people on there thought it was no issue. I cannot recall 4 premier league players being outed at once like this

There's been plenty of instances of PL players disgracing themselves and being outed (the West Brom stolen taxi saga the other year being an example that springs to mind). This is nowhere near up there with that of course, but it IS the type of thing that will inevitably be seized upon by the media.

Now Potter knows his next few press conferences will involve him fielding questions about it, and having to defend these dimbots. Quite wearying for him, particularly when he's had quite enough on his plate to deal with lately.

I don't know exactly what you mean by outed here, but 4 WBA players stole a taxi in Barcelona while they were in a relegation battle, which seems a lot worse.

There must have been gallons of alcohol as well for such a lack of judgement. It will blow over in time but it is hardly helping the relegation battle

Thats speculation - they didn't look like they were rolling around drunk in the video. No point adding layers to it, it was just unprofessional.

I think the point is to avoid being in the dock in the court of public opinion. At all costs. Everyone gets convicted that goes there. Nothing positive can come from, whether you judge it to to be of little consequence or great. In today’s world you’re ****ed the moment you find yourself in it.

Interesting the vote shows, it is ok 44%, is it not 56%. Barber and Bloom hoping it will go away. Much like posting something stupid when pissed on nsc and then hoping it goes off the first page asap, something I have done numerous times over the years as I guess quite a few others have as well, lol

Mind you, who knows how that evening ended up....does make you wonder. Which is why they were stupid putting themselves in that position in the first place.

I am sure they were all on the mineral waters mate

He isn't, though, is he?

He is reporting what "A source close to one of the Brighton players" is saying.
