The NFL is coming back to the UK in the 2008 season. Details will be released during the SuperBowl apparently.

And for all of those of you who are about to reply with comments about how soft NFL players are compared to rugby, note that the expected temperature at game time in Green Bay on Sunday is forecast to be -18C, with very significant windchill taking it much lower.

I enjoy watching NFL but the Wembley event was a fiasco, purely because of the turf issue.

I always thought NFL was a load of crap but seeing some of the highlights it seems like quite a good game. Nothing on football obviously though

Hopefully it will be the PACKERS.

Looking forward to Sunday night!

Hope the weather in Wiconsin is as interesting as last week. Would be fantastic to see Brett Favre in the SuperBowl again, 10 years after his last one.

the weather last week was awesome i was looking through the slideshow and thinking how if we ever had that here the game of football would be off but they nfl carry on. i wouldn't fancy rolling around in short sleeves in that snow. i should hate the packers but i hope they go all the way.

who is commentating on the superbowl on bbc anyone know?

not long until the bafl kicks off. been to watch a few rookie days here and there. noticed a few clubs have started youth and younger rosters. our local club only go down to youth 16-18 but some have younger. my boy is desperate to play.

I'm hoping for a Packers win as well, now that The Cowboys are out. I still think The Patriots will win the Superbowl but Green Bay will make it a closer game than the Giants would.

But that was becuase the turf at Wembley was shit because the groundsmen "forgot" that turf has to have enough time to root properly. When you see NFL games in the states, even in the rain the pitches still look almost perfect.

I'm really hoping to go to the next one, i only hope they have a better game on!

For all of those people who are complaining about how the ruined pitch was the reason why England lost against Croatia, I quote Kevin Cadle, ''Didn't the other team have to play on the same pitch?''

I don't think anyone will come anywhere near the Patriots this year. I have serious doubts that even Green Bay would make it closer than the giants would. The Pats have an insane defensive and offensive line, and sparing any mishaps, Brady will make it a pure showcase. Against the Eagles, i know they didnt exactly excel, but im sure they'll further tighten up for the Superbowl.

better???? This years game was QUALITY! A shit pitch, terrible conditions, and a close trench-fought battle between 2 teams that (for different reasons) had it all to play for! True NFL football. People wanted something different from the old exhibition games and they couldn't have got more!

Giants are dull as f*** to watch but thats what it takes sometime, they're gonna win the whole thing I reckon. Pats leave themselves open to a hard, tight team f***ing up their razzle-dazzle, and I reckon thats the Giants. Having said that, I want the Pack to be there instead cos of Favre.

I hate to admit it but I've got into it working out here. Looking forward to the games on Sunday. There is real needle between the Chargers & Pat's.
The QB for San Diego, Rivers, has full on rows with the spectators; he'd get f***ing lynched at Withers!

It'll be interesting to see if they go for the big name teams again this time (ie Dolphins). As a Broncos fan, hopefully it won't be Panthers v Broncos as I'm hoping to get out to see that game so that I get to see the Broncos again in a different stadium. Have been to Tampa and Jacksonville already so fingers crossed.
