I thought in the first half it was quite reminiscent of the west ham(?) game, where we had so much of the ball, but no real threat on their goal, they had little of the ball but were creating chances they should have done better with. I thought thefirst 10-15 minues of the second half they were on top, and for the last half hour or so we were on top. Overall I thought we deserved the win.

Newcastle were the better side but we had the likes of noone,lua lua and should i say vicente missing and a fair few more,we missed that width thats all

They were no better than us & it had nothing to do with luck. Our defence was outstanding & kept a clean sheet, their defence went missing and didn't. THAT WAS THE DIFFERENCE
