Well too early in the season to be wanting or needing Palace to win.

We could still finish above them ffs.

We’ll be going into the game against them 8 points behind at this rate and some actually want this?! :ffsparr: They will effectively have a free hit against us.

Pure speculation on my part, but I would wager TB has the priority as survival.

We finish above The Caravan Club, an added bonus.

Right now, the more pony sides dragged into the mire, eg Toon, the better.

Just my view.

I think it’s too early and don’t think Newcastle will be going down.

Plus the possibility of no Zaha for a little while, we know what normally happens then.

That is harsh. We may not like him but can't hope he snaps his leg. Plain wrong in my eyes but each to their own.

This.

These are not the 1970s.

I was going on the theory that if they lose here, they don't get any points which, in turn, will contribute to their relegation prospects.

I have no feelings about a mid-table, going nowhere side like Palace in respect of our survival.

Spot on... whatever people think about it being too early or its Palace is nonsense. Football is a very strange game and people might be forgetting what Leicester (Lazarus) did a few years back so let's make sure there are 4 teams well and truly below us and we then set our sights a little bit higher. Same with some people wanting Wolves to beat Arsenal , don't understand it unless they are a fan.

If we are better than palace then we will surely beat them , gap closes. If they are as bad as is made out then we will catch them.
