Like a mum protecting her child this ref will die for these Newcastle lads. He’s so quick to pull out the yellow. Pure passion.

Very poor. Seems like we don't want it. Changes needed as we also have 3 on yellow I believe.

fuckin hell Baleba, fine if you want to leave one on Joelinton but there'll be better opportunities than that

That was needless from Carlos there. Now on a yellow. Needy Saudi fans getting frustrated with Tariq time wasting and he goes sprinting/diving into that tackle with Joelinton. If Joelinton goes writhing around like some other players might (instead of getting straight up), with their fans baying for blood weak refs give reds sometimes.

They will dread extra time far more than we do. A couple of their top players barely backs to fitness and a cup final in two weeks. We just have to stay in this and it’s to our advantage l.

Jesus. Ref must have a bet on yellows
Contrary to that, they were all deserving. The one thing that's bothering me is the unnecessary challenges that are causing them. We're on a tightrope here

A lot of yellow cards this game… I think once he started with the soft ones he couldn’t stop after that.

Probably lucky to go in level. Tricky substitutions for Fab to think about to avoid us getting a red.

Some of our build up play has been very good, but we've generally been too slow or hitting poor long balls.

All to play for.
