David Gilmour's armpit
Pretty cagey from both teams, which is kinda understandable. I expect the second half will be far different to the first, and I'd very much like to see Welbeck on, if not at the start then at least after 10 mins or so,

We’ve played well. They almost look a bit tired Newcastle, not complete 100% full press and energy.

I’d love to find the winner.

Very poor. Seems like we don't want it. Changes needed as we also have 3 on yellow I believe.

Funny how differently one can see a half of football. Your opinion seems to be echoed on twitter but I thought we looked the better side and are playing some decent football

Dare I say cagey? Some wayward passing gifting the barcodes possession. Luckily, they look wasteful as well. Gomez for Baleba after an hour...doubt he'll do it at half time, should be interesting but could see this going the distance.

A lot of yellow cards this game… I think once he started with the soft ones he couldn’t stop after that.
We are not going to finish with 11 unless Fab changes players on yellows. Yellow cards being given very softly in comparison to some games. At least he’s being consistent with them.

Probably lucky to go in level. Tricky substitutions for Fab to think about to avoid us getting a red.

Some of our build up play has been very good, but we've generally been too slow or hitting poor long balls.

All to play for.
Build up play just lacks some pace. Lovely through ball by Pedro for the goal but may want to think of Welbz to hold it up a little better.

Why are Radio5 Live arguing that Baleba should have been sent off? Ridiculous!
One of his legs was extended and he kind of lost his balance. It's barely a yello in my opinion but given the speed he charged/dived in, it is. Don't know what those Radio 5 Saudi cheerleaders are banging on about.

Roy Keane spot on. 'Brighton have been the better team; Newcastle have looked more dangerous'.
