Second best all round 1st half. They dominated and we were nowhere. Poor passing from the 1st whistle made it even harder for us. Hopefully a better 2nd half from us and we can get back into the game.

Undav is a shocking footballer, the two goals he’s scored recently don’t make up for the fact his first touch is woeful and diving in like that on the stroke of half time to give them a set piece is brain dead
At fault for their two goals and on a yellow needs to come off as a minimum

It's weird isn't it really? Not that players are tired etc. But this one game good one game bad thing is starting to become a worry. Being a bedwetter, but losing Mac and Moises (and Colwill) is starting to get a bit worrying. JP and Goodnight aren't ready to step up. We need to find some players to play in the spine of the team because that is where we look so weak. Where are we going to find to world class DMS and a left footed CB from?!

Hoping the old adage of being 2-0 up being a dangerous score holds true…

..also hoping the real Albion come out for the 2nd half. Burn’s celebration hurt a little, but whatever.
come on, if you were a pro and played for one club and then celebrated for another, ofc that could be deemed out of order.... but if you played for one club then sored a crucial goal for the Albion against former club, thats understandable.... if I scored in the Amex for Albion, I would too

Sure it isn’t his first.scored in the cup. No offence taken but never like seeing it at same time! That’s just being a fan.
Sorry first league goal for them. There is nothing wrong with him celebrating though. Doesn’t show a lack of respect, we’d all do it if the opportunity arose.

Undav is having a proper mare. Own goal and giving away a silly foul on the edge of our area, topped off with his non existent marking of his man, Dan Burn, in the subsequent freekick.

We’re down to the bare bones squad wise.

But it’s clear that we won’t see Van Hecke (not a De Zerbi style player) Buonanotte (needs a loan or two) and Undav (can’t pass well enough) in the squad next year.

The killer blow is not having Veltman, Lamptey, Colwill and Webster. It’s killing us at the back.

We just need to keep the score down now.
And of those four one is leaving, one might leave and the other two are always injured.

Undav has literally had no use for us, instead helping Newcastle, I don't care who comes on for him - he just needs to come off the pitch.

Pathetic half.

Utterly ludicrous challenge from Undav for that free kick. He’s been dreadful. Absolute waste of time playing him and Buonanotte, they’re totally out of their depth - as is JPVH.

Need changes now - Mac Allister, Ferguson and Enciso on for Gilmour, Undav and Buonanotte and swap Gross and Caicedo round. They totally dominated Gross and Gilmour in the middle.
Agree Undav and Buonanotte have let themselves down badly. Absolutely dire. Pathetic even. Just like Everton and they'e turned up and done the same. Undav is the most responsible for both goals. Buonanotte gives the ball away and all he's got on the evidence I've seen is turning inside. He needs to run down the wing sometimes. Technically good and lets hope RDZ can coach him like he did Julio.

Not sure I'd make any changes mind and save them for Sunday. It's worth 3 points like tonight. We tried this V Everton and led to March's injury.
