Everton?Worst 45 of the season
Everton?Worst 45 of the season
Better chance of winning SundayNo problem with team selection, we have far more chance winning Saturday with strongest starting XI. If we'd starter strongest line up we could have still lost tonight.
Caicedo absolutely needs to be in middle of the park.
Probably as he was marked by defenders who were taller than 5’10Why couldn’t Burn ever score any headers for us. Bad half. Played right into their hands. Tactics not working.
Still a min to play when the free kick was awarded, game delayed by all the handbags. Ref right to add more time.Fooking Burn NEVER scored with a header for us. 45 plus 2 and they score at 49.
Manager is clearly making Sunday a banker.Pathetic half.
Utterly ludicrous challenge from Undav for that free kick. He’s been dreadful. Absolute waste of time playing him and Buonanotte, they’re totally out of their depth - as is JPVH.
Need changes now - Mac Allister, Ferguson and Enciso on for Gilmour, Undav and Buonanotte and swap Gross and Caicedo round. They totally dominated Gross and Gilmour in the middle.
Note the excessive part. Nothing wrong with celebrating but he was at it for ages.He is a Newcastle fan scoring against his former club, who are having a brilliant season. Would be a bit odd if he didn’t.
We’ve still been shit and lethargic and made elementary mistakes that have basically gifted them the game.No. No it's not. You're being completely obtuse here.
1) Newcastle away is a hard fixture at even the best of times.
2) This is a second string team out of necessity. If it was an FA Cup Final and we had a full strength squad, half of this side would get into the first XI, if that.
3) Some of our key players are clearly physically f***ed. They shouldn't be playing, but we have no other option. We're arleady resting some key players.
4) Newcastle are exploiting all of the above. Their pressing we can't keep up with. Should we have a fully fit, well rest, full strength side, we would be doing better.
5) Both of their goals were from set pieces. We have too many small, light weight players on the pitch - and they have the opposite. It's not surprising their goals have come from set pieces.
We have been doing our best throughout this adversity. We have been okay. We shouldn't feel too downhearted. Although this fixture is over barring a miracle.
If it's any consolation, knowing RDZ, he's likely to make some very strong subs in the 2nd half to try to, well, literally win this. That's just what kind of manager he is.
Well we are getting stuffed.Even if we get stuffed, it doesn't make the selection wrong - our players need a rest. We have a better chance of 3 points against Southampton.
And we put out a good side against Forest, but they were knackered and it cost us.
Undav not actually playing too bad, Van Hecke has grown into the game. Dunk's passing has become poorer, the wings are just non existant
A sensible, level headed post floating in a sea of absolute embarrassing piss.No. No it's not. You're being completely obtuse here.
