If you have a choice of flying to JFK or Newark take Newark. Unless it's changed JFK used to be a taxi into Manhatten costing $40 to $45. Newark has a free train off the airport then change platforms to a 1 stop service that brings you out at Penn station right at Madison Square Garden, bang smack in the middle of Manhatten

there's a monorail now into jamaica.

newark is bloody miles away! go for jfk!

If you want to make it special, I'd recommend the Hilton Club

If you just look at the price, it appears expensive but that includes an eat all you want continental breakfast and a 2 hour 'Manager's Reception' in the evening ie get pissed free before you go out for dinner.

We had a 2 bedroom suite with a lounge with a huge plasma tv. Huge bathroom and a shower room.
