That is completely correct. They developed the game on Xbox360 then couldn't get it working on PS3 as PS3 did not have the graphical power to run it, so the release got delayed to accomodate the PS3's lower quality version being developed.

TBH i think its pathetic arguing that XBOX is better than PS3 and vise versa, just entertainment, but i have got to say this is rubbish. The problem is that it is so much harder to write and create games for the PS3, and easier to do so on the XBOX, nothing to do with the graphical capabilities.

Guessing you've not looked at the articles. It is WELL known Xbox360 is more graphically capable than PS3 and that IS the reason for the delays. There are comparison tests on the game on both consoles where the Xbox360 obliterates the PS3.

provide links to this, almost all third party engines look better on PS3 e.g. cryengine 3, but of course these are all far surpassed by some of PS3s first party engines like guerilla and naughty dogs

Your not getting Gran Turismo, at all, ever, so i have no idea where that totally incorrect remark as come from, what i would like to know, is that if 360 is so superior, then how can Forza only manage 400 cars, whereas GT on the PSP can manage 800? Tekken has been a multi plat game for a long while now, and im sorry, but MEGA LOL at the MGS reference, way back in time, Kojima said that it was probable that the new MGS would be multi plat, and tbh, you can have a spin off, and the ps3'ers can play it to, because its not exclusive to you.
the graphics are stronger on 360? thats funny because i remember square enix saying they were making FFXIII first on ps3 because the 360 cant handle it? the devs are starting to move over to the ps3 as the dominant format now because they are starting to be able to work with the different hardware, simple as that.
what exactly was the loss of GTA? i clearly can see it being stated all over the place that sony were and are getting the DLC, and that it was, once again merely a timed exclusive, so yea, big loss their.
oh and by the way, contrary to what i said about MGS4, i have seen rumours it is coming to 360, apparently the boxart is already done.

Killzone 2 is quite nice looking admittedly. Still doesn't really hold a torch to Gears of War, Gears of War 2, Halo 3 or Mass Effect. It only took 3 years to come out though eh?

Exclusives: BioShock is the only GOOD exclusive Xbox360 has lost. LostPlanet is cack.

GTA: RockStar came out and said that the PS3 was struggling with the graphical quality of the game, so it was delayed on Xbox360 also to coincide release dates. Again, there are plenty of graphics tests on this game on both consoles where Xbox360 is clearly superior.

Tekken has never been on Xbox360 or Nintendo. So no it's not properly multi-platform. PSP doesn't even count as a console. I borrowed one and almost threw it away before rememebering it was someone else's. Couldn't wait to get back to my DS.

XBOX is a year ahead of PS3, we have been over this before, its not cheaper when you factor in all the value for money of the PS3. Since you've clearly never played a game like God of War, Socom, Uncharted, Little Big Planet, Wipeout or Warhawk i dont see how you can decide that the 4 or so games youve listed all have better gameplay, when they all fall under one category (one that plays better on a PC anyway). And stop switching the subject, you said better graphics i pointed out KZ2 has better graphics, so now suddenly its about gameplay, where the 360 falls flat on its face again? Whats next, noise? reliability? Exclusive titles? Oh wait...

I know what Unreal Engine 3 is. I'm happy for you to be the geekier of us two though. I don't think I'm so knowledgeable, that's why I keep using external sources rather than my own word. So far you have used none, so I'm having to go on your word only whereas I have provided you with tonnes of stats, facts, evidence and opinion of those far more in the know than me or you.

I have played most of those games. Loved WipEout. I have mentioned it before but I will say it again. I loved PSOne. I loved PS2. PS2 shat all over Xbox original. There is no bias here from me.

Again I explained (using MetaCritic) that the general consensus is that Xbox360 has a stronger line up (ie better gameplay). MetaCritic takes reviews from all publications, all platforms. So it is entirely neutral, and covers all professional opinions of games.

Yes Killzone 2 has very good graphics, that doesn't change the FACTS I posted regarding Xbox360 generally being agreed to be graphically superior.

Noise? Fair enough, I never actually hear the Xbox360 running because I have the games running, but I can accept that it is the louder of the two. Reliability? You have got me there. It is less reliable. I have had no problems with mine but I've enough stories to know it IS less reliable. However everyone I know who've had problems have encountered fantastic support from Microsoft, a new console within 5 days in one case, along with 3 months free Xbox LIVE.
