I left my pub in Burgess Hill in February 2003 and during the December of 2002 one of the road workers who drank in the pub came into me and said' I have been working on the new road structure for Sussex University and BHA football club today plotting and laying out the provisonal route. Can't remember who he worked for, I think it was Jarvis, but I may be wrong, but what it does show is that whilst the hearings were going on work was still progressing towards the eventual start. MP did say it would take 12 months to get all tenders etc in and confirmed before work could commence so we must be a little more patient.
