Tim sherwood. If he wants to come.

The stats are clear, you need a British manager to get you promoted from the championship.

I'm also actually fed up having a manager who hardly speaks English or you can't understand them anyway so it will make a nice change

You're right. Let's get Billy Davies. Or Karl Robinson.
Uwe Rosler is about to prove you wrong.

I really don't get the Sherwood fans. He has achieved nothing in his few games as a manager, he has no previous managerial experience and knows nothing about the championship. What am I missing?

I'm interested to know why so many people think Zola? Massively cocked up last year with Watford when they had a big budget and the pick of the players from 3 clubs

A further advantage of Sherwood is that he's meant to have worked well with Spurs as a coach for several years.

With the club hellbent on complying with FFP, coaching will be crucial, and he will have the Lancing complex to work with.

Scouting needs an overhaul too. The strong personality and experience of Sherwood, might expose failings in that dept eg is Burke any good?

Spot on, some people just want a big name signing. What we need is a manager with experience in this league or an up and coming manager.

The more I think about it, the more I believe Paul Dickov would do a job, Brighton connection, Nobby as his assistant, knows the championship, passionate, hard worker.

I think he did an underrated job at West Ham in difficult circumstances, excellent with Watford last year - not sure what happened this year apart from some of the better players not returning. Plays good football.

Somebody with a pair of balls thats not going to piss off because they cant have a £50 million budget , somebody who can build a team who want to win as if their life depended on it not if they win they get a 5k bonus in their already over inflated pay packet , somebody cool under severe pressure ,and most of all somebody that can not be seen amongst trees during the winter , so this guy .

The first time in many decades on this planet that i have ever seen the words "complex" and "lancing" used together.
