It's a funny coincidence that I was discussing this today with a City STH, they literally mean nothing at all apparently.

I'm assuming then that when they win their first Champions League title, they'll drop it down to 1 star? Makes them seem a bit amateur having the 3 stars when everyone across Europe knows they represent CL wins.

Haven't they just printed a sponsor on top of the shirt? I get the general gist of your point and somewhat agree, but we don't want to go back to printed sponsors, in my lowly opinion.

Most teams have printed sponsors nowadays, granted Errea didn't seem to get it right, but if we did go back to it let's hope they've sorted out the issues they had.

The QPR shirt looks dreadful, and the sponsor logos don't help (IMO).

On another note, Vancouver Whitecaps kits are OK

Pathetic post, if you took the time to look into what you are saying you would perhaps see the truth but perhaps you simply don't want to.
Most LFC fans love the new lit, including the flames and "96" on the back collar.
One group, the HJC have voiced concerns against it as "It" wasn't consulted about the changes. The main group "HJSG" which has worked with LFC from day one was consulted and agreed with the revisions.
The majority of fans agree with how it has been done. You, have been reading the usual daily mail, S*n and other red tops crap trying to stir up problems that don't exist.

QPR are one of those clubs who always, unfailingly, have an ugly shirt. I've never seen a QPR shirt I liked, well not since the 1980s at least.

Tranmere are the other club who always look cheap and nasty.

To be honest most of the LFC game going fans I know are for safe seating. KD came out against it as did some of the individual family members who lost relatives, but that does go against the grain.
If you ever stood in the Kop, in the late 70's/early 80's as I did that atmosphere, while being a little awe inspiring was unique.
As to BJ and AD they get too much paper space without me adding to it!

it's just a design feature, we have had logos 'in' the fabric that have had a tighter crop in the past - the black and blue Sandtex shirt for example.

i wonder if the sponsors ask for the 'block' so it shows up clearer on televison etc.

personally it's one of my shirt bugbears, i can't stand it.

Itt's nice, but did you see how much it is? €79.95!! European kits have really gone up recently - they have low ticket prices, but astronomical replica kit prices, whereas we have the high ticket prices but the shirts have stayed around the same price (which is still high for what they are).

True, I'd say in my experience that replica shirts here are by and large cheaper than other places I've bought them from. Euro price tends to be in the €60-90 bracket, South America is around the $90us mark, USA is $70-$100. I notice in some places the kit manufacturers make a cheaper 'fans matchday shirt' which is a much cheaper version of the proper replica shirt. makes no sense really though, if they whacked the price of the replica down, people would be better able to afford them.
