Bugger! We can always seek permission to have that quashed, can't we? If all goes well, I can't imagine there would be problems with filling in the corners. The villagers would have to have a decent case to contest that.

BTW does anyone know whether the Dust Control Plan, including details of control of particulate levels, has been submited to the Local Planning Authority for its written approval yet. Has to be submitted at least 10 weeks before commencement of ANY works

I was sat next to a guy in E block last night who STILL doesn't believe it's going to happen. He gave up his season ticket this year (after having one since 2000), and now only comes to about 10 games a season. He was a genuine member of the "I won't believe it until it's built" school of thought. Unfortunately I think there are still quite a few of those around.

By the time the stadium is completed for use, technological advances with have progressed sufficiently to ‘beam’ us into our seats.

The Transporters (sponsored by American Express) will convert the fan into an energy pattern (a process called dematerialization), then "beam" them to the target seat, where it is reconverted into matter (rematerialization). Of course, the speed and comfort of which, will depend on what level of pass one holds (Gold/Blue/White).

Non-season ticket holders will be expected to find their own way to their seat via a small entrance at the back of the stadium (out of sight in the picture).
