He could have stayed with us and continued his development, I am sure someone within the club could have supported him with advice on moving agents if he had wanted or felt they were not acting with his best interests at heart.I really feel for the lad.
He's 21-years-old. He's not in his home country. He's been used by agents so they can pocket the biggest wedge for themselves.
Now he's at Chelsea, with nobody around him who really cares for his wellbeing.
He's been used. I hope we don't boo him on his return. Silence will be enough.
He might be naive but he is not stupid and would know full well what his actions and intentions meant when getting his move.
He has left the small pond to swim with the sharks so like potter and cucurella before him I have very little in the way of sympathy.
Besides our fans and what they do or don’t do at the Amex are the least of his worries.
