Totally agree with that. Whilst I agree that they should be given a few games to get it right, the lot that took over from Azure had I believe only a couple of days betwwen Azure going and stepping in themselves. I'd booked myself and my daughter in for a meal on their first Saturday as it was her birthday and they were pretty much bang on from the word go.

Staff looked "bewildered" at times last night and our room was half empty so it is only going to get harder when the place is full.

I really hope they havent just gone for the cheapest "bottom line" option and failed to factor in that people will just eat and drink elsewhere if the service is poor and the price is high. To make that mistake twice in 3 seasons having already had a decent provider in place would be straight out of the Gerald Ratner guide to running a business!

With The Sky Bet Championship season nearly upon us and our newly appointed catering partner Sodexo Prestige now in place, we would like to offer members the opportunity to join a focus group to outline our vision to improve the 1901 Club matchday experience moving forward.

This will include an introduction to the team at Sodexo and a brief tasting to preview the menus and wine lists for the season ahead and to listen to the views of our members. The members' meeting will take place on Wednesday 31st July from 6.00pm until 7.00pm in the BMW Chandlers Lounge. While we appreciate that this is short notice, we are keen for you to meet our new catering partner and to discuss our 1901 Club improvements at the earliest convenience.

The focus group will be hosted by the Albion commercial team and they will all be on hand to answer any questions you may have.

We have a limited number of 30 places available for this event, so if you would like to attend please RSVP by 5pm on Monday 29th July to jo.brooks@bhafc.co.uk.

Yes I've had the same. I've said I will go but having read it a couple of times it looks like a marketing exercise rather than a "tell us what we are doing wrong" type of meeting. With just an hour to ply us with food and drink and tell us how great their plans are won't leave much time for any meaningful discussion. Be interesting to see how many replies they get as judging by what I've heard so far there a quite a few unhappy bunnies.

Sat in the West for first and last time, all three counters were out of pies 30 mins before kick off.

Not going to get stressed about how bad the service and stock was, clearly the club don't need my cash.

Which is just as well as they will not be getting another penny from me in relation to food and drink.

I would sooner starve.

I suspect that the fault is with the club, was there anyone from the club checking the awful food, Harveys and service in the Lower West? I didn't see anyone and if there was, what were they doing?

After queuing for what seem like an eternity, my grandson asked for his favourite, a Double-Decker chocolate bar. The girl looked bewildered and asked what they were! He settled for a hot dog, just like that 'thing' in the picture, he was not at all impressed. My Harveys, I think someone called it 'Brite', if so mine was anything but, 'Murky' would have been a more fitting name.

After explaining the cash card facility to the operative I wasn't offered a receipt and as those behind us were getting restless, I decided to forego asking for one. Perhaps I should have, then I would have been aware of the prices. In future I will buy some Double-Deckers in Tesco and take them with me.

The 'signs' behind the counter have disappeared, they are now above you and can't be seen without stepping back, if an alternative is required. The bloke behind me looked distinctly unhappy.

As others have said, if they can't cope with a 'friendly' what hope have they of satisfying the demand, when the LW is full?

me items. I worry, crowd only half of the norm. The service doesnt match the price, needs sorting

They where terrible for the Lower West, there was no pies, burgers or anything when we got there, we had to wait 10mins for them to re stock the pies, all the member of stuff serving us was a total lemon and didnt no what was going on, the cider was warm, then they ran out of boxes for the pies and gave them out in just their metal, queues where massive at half time, fck knows what they are gonna be like for a league game with double the fans, not a good start.

Anyone tried google translate on these?
