Watched the first couple of episodes of 'One Day' on Netflix, based on the hardback book. Nice and easy watch, gently funny, think it's going to be a good one.

Love stories aren't normally my thing but I've just binged this and it was absolutely superb. I'd go far to say as one of the best things I've binged in recent times.

On another thread some is saying that Shogun on Disney is very good. For those who don't have Disney, I would recommend Blue Eyed Samurai on netflix. I thought this was excellent.

We’ve watched the first three episodes of Loudermilk. Haven’t watched too many new comedies in recent years but have really enjoyed this one. It’s American but the comedy style seems more British.
Have to agree about this and the other Loudermilk endorsements....not much of a fan of US comedy but the writing is brilliant. It reminds me a bit of how everyone loved Cheers years ago as being something a bit different (at that time, realise a bit dated now)....and with characters with recognisable-in-self shortcomings etc...Loudermilk is really worth a try.....

Finally got through Kleo, as recommended on this thread, an excellent, quirky watch. Jella Hasse carries the show but the acting all round is superb, if somewhat intentionally hammy at times.

Only just finished E1 of German Limited Series 'The Signal' but already looking like that rarest of things: an intelligent riveting sci-fi

If you like Snatch and Lockstock....it's a no brainer that you'll love The Gentlemen. Typical slick Guy Ritchie production.

It's Amazon, its from last year, it's probably been mentioned before and there is no second series but The Peripheral is excellent.

By all means get Disney for Shogun. You’ll also get The Bear, which is brilliant.

Disney is £1.99 a month for 3 months at the moment.

Plenty of time to catch up on all the good stuff on there.

Watched Manhunt: The Boston Marathon Bombers (approximate title) 3 part documentary last night. Very good indeed. Cops do like to fire their guns!

The Gentleman E5 and the Irish travellers had me bailing. Why does Ritchie feel the need to throw everything in his back catalogue at something? Up to that point I absolutely loved it.
