lol….just watched the first episode…ok I’m in
be warned, episode 1 is very good but some of the following episodes are a bit up and down with some confusing storylines/characters. I'm now on episode 6 and overall I'm enjoying it and would recommend it, especially as Michelle Keegan is in it, so that gets it a plus 2 for a start.

"Fool Me Once" - you can fool me into watching episode one but that's as far as I go. I don't mind suspending my sense of reality for a good drama, but every aspect of this show is utterly implausible. Michelle Keegan as ex special forces is the icing on the implausibility cake.

As with any Netflix mini series it would be perfectly good at half the length or as a film, but it is one of the better ones imo. Harlen Coben writes decent stories.

I've got to Episode 6 in Fool Me Once. Looks ok, but Michelle Keegan is totally unconvincing as special forces. The plot started out implausibly but I'm less bothered by that as a ton of good dramas require you to suspend your disbelief - it goes with the territory.

Not Netflix but Based on a True Story which Sky are pushing hard at the moment.....it's crap!

Watched the first three episodes and thought it was an interesting idea but a bit meh. Now the darts has finished there was nothing on to watch last night (I refused to watch Palace Everton) so I finished the series off. If anything it gets worse. Only positive thing I can say about it is the episodes are only 30 mins long.

For those into American Football (or just feel-good sports stories in general), watched two good films the last few days - American Underdog on Netflix and 12 Mighty Orphans on Prime. Both good watches!

Another vote for Leave the World Behind. Thoroughly enjoyed it, I liked the way it slowly cranked up the tension and didn't give you all the answers immediately but made you think a bit. And the character development was good, particularly Mahershala Ali's

8/10

Nimona. A knight (Riz Ahmed) in a futuristic society is framed for the murder of the Queen and he has to team up with a shapeshifting monster (Chloe Grace Moretz) to find justice and clear his name. It was so fun. A different animation style than Disney (though to be fair, Disney have tried to be a bit more adventurous with the animation style in recent years).
