180+ million since we come up.

And we are still looking over our shoulders at teh bottom 3.

Crazy

Moneybags Brighton

So we should do a 'Huddersfield', not spend and go back down, like Norwich seem to be doing.

These figures don't allow for the increased income from being in the PL so doesn't mean much without that being taken into account.

I think we've been quite frugal in PL terms when you look at Wolves, Villa etc...

Tony has a long term plan for us and is investing now for future 'success' (we hope) as a stable top 10 club.

Misunderstood what the figures meant. To me it is a meaningless stat which perhaps just tells you what we already know i.e. we had to spend as we were upgrading our squad . I assumed wrongly that it was in context of income and we had over spent on our income by those amounts.

The stat though hides so much of the truth i.e.a lot of what we have bought was not very good and that our championship players were pretty good.

Fairy nuff. :)

Citeh £600m
Manure £442m
Arsenal £267m
Everton £237m
Chelsea £128m (including transfer ban)
Liverpool £107m
Spuds £99m

And NSC’ers Citeh luvvies put their ‘miracle against all odds’ down to Guardiola. Everyone else knows it’s because they outgunned everyone else in buying 2 dozen of the world’s best players.

Looks like we spent 60% of our £100M PL money for each season we have been in the PL. Wonder what percentage other teams spent.

Our Kieran (spelling) has posted full details of this previously. We are nicely prudent. Among the top spaffers are.....the sons of shitehole park. Who knew? ???

Yes. I am inclined to marvel at our owner's strategy rather than criticise. Twenty years ago we were enjoying the first season in front of 5800 capacity crowds at a rented stadium with no roof, with Darren Freeman leading the line. And that was a massive step up from the previous season.

Since moving to the Amex the Albion's official player trading has been player purchases £98m and sales £28m. These figures only go up to 2017/18 though and are taken from the accounts. I'm a bit wary of the figures from Transfrmarkt etc as they are just guesses.

Also during the Amex era the club lost £131 million in the Championship. God bless Tony Bloom.

I think most of us like City because they are not United or Liverpool.

How many of you are there? Only ever seems to be a couple of Mansour lickers.

Their financial doping has also made the odds of Spuds and Arsenal winning the PL almost impossible.

It can’t be a good thing that we have a Bayern, Juve, Celtic, PSG money situation.

You were replying to a post about you spending all the Premier League money. So of course, it's relevant.

With all your net spend on transfers and wages hasn’t all your premier league money gone ?

Isn't that the point of the income, to spend it on football? No one wants owners who are just there to make a profit and take money out of the game. So long as clubs stick within the rules.
