The arrogance of Villa fans is astounding. I can remember when Calderwood went there, there was loads on Twitter ‘when the villa come calling’ etc etc like it was a given. Big club, yes. Struggled on pitch and been behind BHA for 5 years - yes!

There’s something about these midland/northern clubs who used to be good back in’t day, that really pisses me off for some reason, villa fans on Twitter and social media seem like absolute dickheads, remember earlier in the summer when some drivel newspaper linked them with Dunk for £25m ( :lolol: ) they were acting as if the deal was sealed and he’d be gagging to go there.

Hope they crash and burn this season.

Amusing to see Villa fans on Twitter, who for so long have been convinced that Maupay will go there just because of the Dean Smith connection, now bending over backwards to say that they obviously never wanted him anyway and have bigger targets in mind.

If this is confirmed, I for one will be very happy with it. Add a right back/right wing back before the window SLAMS shut and I think we're in as good a place as could realistically be expected.
Haha, snap.

Well Fulham spent stupid money on players just like Villa have only twelve months ago . . . and look what happened to them?

Hasn't played any pre-season friendlies due to transfer talk. If he signs, Hughton would have integrated him till January! Big chance for Potter to show his colours!

Fed up with Chris being bad mouthed for things he didnt do.

The opening game last year he played Bissouma, Bernardo and Ali J there is also a chance Andone would have featured had he not been injured. We all know how that game panned out for them.

So in that light if Potter is a bit more conservative than Chris was with his new signings I hope he isnt slated for giving them more time.

No respect whatsoever. For the best ever Albion manager

Bissouma was a substitute, Ali J was a late substitute, Bernado switched to RB because of Bruno and had a nightmare after which CH didn't play him again for weeks/months.

Not disputing your point on the whole, but suggesting that CH threw them straight in and thus blaming them for the result is farcical.
