Sometimes in football you have to be really harsh despite how much you want to see a player do well, Maupay is simply not good enough for this level if we want to go further as a club, nor are any of our strikers.

That isn't 'harsh' it is dismissive. We can't sell him right now but we could bin him off into the reserves. You really thinks that's appropriate?
What I expect the manager to do is work with him and the rest of the squad so we achieve more in each game. It isn't all about one player.
I'm quite relaxed about giving a player pelters if he's not up to it, but Neal is nowhere near that place.
Having aspirations of signing a fifty million quid striker is ane entirely different matter. Aspire away.
