No, of course not, if you find that fun.

I prefer to watch the new players at the July friendlies myself.
You could have watched all the new recruits play meaningful games in division 3, last season.

We very nearly got to watch the current mob take us there! :lolol:
I do think we will sign a few in early July. Maybe even one before that..........but by then I reckon you will have got your wish with NSC in wholesale apoplectic meltdown :albion2:

Is it wrong of me to hope the Albion do no business until August, just so I can watch NSC meltdown?[/QUOT

Hilarious, a few days mirth followed by a season like last year or worse, yeah bring it on

I agree with the article. I would have stressed importance.

1. striker
2. second striker/attacking midfielder
3. left back
4. right winger
5. keeper
6. covering central defender

7. That one midfielder should be left-sided and an influential type of player amongst the youngsters would help.

I think six players gove us a 24 or 25 man squad.

Did anyone really believe the club would? Why change the habit of a lifetime? Everything is looking all too depressingly familiar to me.

We seemed to do a fair bit of early window business in 2011 and 2012 summer windows. The last 2 years have been hindered by not having a manager at this time of year.

As for this year, there seems to be enough rumour to suggest that things are happening.

I guess if I found it so hideously intolerable I could always not go.

Very good article, and I agree with pretty much all of that.

1 - Keeper - Slightly disagree in that Ankers would be a good 3rd pick, but please give Walton more of a role
2 - Sign a left back not on loan. Done
3 - Sign a central defender
4 - Sign an attacking midfielder
5 - Sign at least 1 winger
6 - Sign at least 2 strikers. 1 signed so far
7 - DO TRANSFER BUSINESS EARLY Looking good
8 - Less loans
9 - More leaders on the pitch. Rosenior is a decent start.
10 - Aim for top 2, not top 6

Let's get it done.

Good progess so far :drink:

I know Andy is doing his own assessment of this today, but no link yet...

1 - Keeper - done
2 - Sign a left back not on loan - done
3 - Sign a central defender
4 - Sign an attacking midfielder
5 - Sign at least 1 winger
6 - Sign at least 2 strikers - done
7 - DO TRANSFER BUSINESS EARLY - getting there, still work to do
8 - Less loans - none so far
9 - More leaders on the pitch - Zamora, Rosenior - done
10 - Aim for top 2, not top 6

Good progress, so far
