Yes you do - go to your disability services. I get 25% extra time as i have fingers missing & associated problems.

I missed a deadline last week too. They might be able to bail me out. Do you get the option of a writer or the use of special equipment for the exam? I managed to get an adapted PC, which is really helpful.

Don't know if they'll bail you out for missing a deadline - mine only applies in exams. I got offered writers etc - but i much prefer writing it myself.

Have pm-ed you Gina. Yes, you can have a writer or a laptop, unlimited rest breaks. You need to speak to someone at your education establishment such as SENCO or student services

Yeah, I don't know if I'd find a writer much help. Especially as I wouldn't be used to using one. Thanks for the advice though :)

I'm only allowed a break every 15 mins - is that normal?

That's alright, go for extra time, its so helpful! I'd never have a writer, as it'd be so annoying for me, having to spell out everything, do punctuation etc

Turn it off and...shit I don't even find that funny when people do it in a relevant context.

With GCSEs, the breaks are unlimited and as & when the candidate requires...I'm not sure what they are for any other exams. It could mean a 2 hour exam taking 5 hours, and I do know of schools where that has happened (but thankfully not mine!)

then take your top off, wrap the cling film around your breasts and post the picture on here!

As if I'd do something like that.

As it happens, I was discussing with someone this afternoon about how long to boil and egg for and if it would come to any harm. I can now inform him.

I burned my wrist on the oven shelf about an hour ago. I immediately ran it under cold water. Unfortunately, our cold tap runs hot to begin with, and I ended up almost scalding myself.

It's a nasty red mark that looks like it might blister up, and it really hurts.

I have an exam tomorrow, am I likely to be in pain tomorrow morning? Any help would be greatly appreciated, especially from any medical types out there. Owww.

If you don't cut the offending arm off within 24 hours your genitalia will shrink to nothing.

I have a type of arthritis in my wrists, fingers etc that makes writing in exams painful and difficult. Does that mean I might be entitled to some kind of special allowance? I have to write slower than the average person too.

does that mean handjobs are out? :(
