I know it's gonna sound contraversial but i think it's immoral spending that much money on going into space when there's far more pressing issues back home

Correct me if I'm wrong but the moon isn't going to have changed much in the last 30 odd years so unless they're off drilling for oil what can they actually hope to achieve up there?

Some would say they never have been there!

The long term aim is to send a manned mission to Mars, but the trouble is all of Nasa's top men from the 1960's to 70's who actually worked on the moon missions have long since retired. This moon mission is just to get NASA back upto speed before they try and go to Mars.
