Whilst I sympathise with your view, I think it's important to keep exchanging information about what is happening on the global stage and who the bad actors are. Democracy dies in the dark. To have any chance at all, we need to stay informed and stick together.

Besides, I'm sure none of these cretins has the slightest idea this thread exits.
Cretin-watch serves a useful purpose.

By who? Definitions matter.
For your information....... Wikipedia quotes "The AfD is Eurosceptic, and opposes immigration into Germany, especially Muslim immigration. The name of the party reflects its resistance to (uncontested by mainstream parties) policies of Angela Merkel with her insistence on Alternativlosigkeit (lit. 'alternative-less-ness', a German version of "there is no alternative"). The Federal Office for the Protection of the Constitution, Germany's domestic intelligence agency, has classified the party as a "suspected extremist" organisation"

As far as anyone can label anything AfD is a far right political lobby.....

Silly old bat
Musk reposts a still photo showing ‘migrants with axes attacking a Birmingham hospital’ and claiming the main stream media are covering it up.
London Economic refutes it, explaining the still is from a Batman film, Dark Knight Rising.

They live amongst us!

I hope I don't get to the point in life where I think I've accomplished everything I can and the only thing left to do is act like an complete idiot (can also easily be applied to a known orange president too).

The German establishment that wants parties banned and jails people for criticising the Government?

Nice "Trust me bro" response. And an appeal to authority fallacy.

Who do you define as a far right party, promoting far right politics, which according to wiki are:

"...a range of ideologies that are marked by radical conservatism, authoritarianism, ultra-nationalism, and nativism."

I define it as hate mongering, neo-nazi types. setting aside wiki as a dubious source. those terms need a lot of unpacking.

Radical conservativism links to more rhetoric and "adopting stances of anti-immigration, nationalism, and sovereignty " anti-immigration is a left-wing trope, nobodies arguing against people coming its issues of scale and vetting. Nationalism and sovereignty would include Labour!

ultra-nationalism links to Supremacy and Hegemony, again nobody including the AfD is arguing for that. Nativism links to preference for native born people. Again that's about 90% of the country and AdF is not arguing for Native preferences.

Well no and yes, once its noted it appears on all similar posts this projects the retraction far further than old media who all suffer from this problem.
Sorry, I fail to see where the 'no' fits in to that.

He reposted it? Yes.
To millions of people? Yes. He has 218 million followers!
The horse had bolted? Yes. A large number of those 218 million people – not to mention the other people who don't follow him – would've seen it. And believed it, regardless of any sort of 'retraction'.

Not everything can be defended. You CAN just admit that he messed up massively.

The issue under discussion was not whether 'Germany's domestic intelligence agency, has classified the party as a "suspected extremist" organisation'.

That may or may not be true, probably depending on how far right the perspective is; much of the rest of the definition derives from actual stated AfD political agendas; the ones cited are characteristic of far right organisations in several countries that acknowledge that they occupy the 'far right' politically.

People can explain things to you, but trust me (and I am not your bro), no one can understand them for you. Like the rest of us you'll have to do that all on your own.....

He didn’t mess up at all. Goal achieved. Likely fully expected to be called out on it.

Dark Knight a great film btw the way, hopefully the film’s reputation is in no way damaged by axe-gate.

Was it (source, proof)? Or was it just faked with AI?

Yeah, that's a poor way of putting it. What I meant was that, to most sane/normal/decent people, he messed up by not doing the 'right' thing and not spread BS and add fuel to the fire. But, like Trump, I genuinely believe he doesn't give a toss.

Trump at least has the excuse of being born an idiot into wealth. Musk isn’t an idiot, his is cold calculated disinformation. He’s trolling the world and he bought a plaything to do it with.

So, who do you view as a far right political party?
