The point is that although QPR are potentially one of the richest clubs in the country, their owners don't strike me as those who throw money down the drain.

No they obviously won't sign Messi, but can "afford" to pay astronomical wages.

... and I'd imagine QPR fans would like a few years of stability after all the financial problems they have suffered.

When we talk about QPR we should be asking what do their wealthy owners get out of it. They've got a small poor stadium and a small fan-base compared to the other London sides so why are they there?
