Ha Ha Ha - Glen has just proved himself at last during the last 6 months after three years in League One after being challenged by Gus to be a 20 goal striker - he did not renew Glens contract like he did for Adam and Elliott before Christmas. Glen will have to prove himself in The championship before he gets a shot at the Premier League. Even Wardy and Zamora initilally struggled to prove themselves in the top flight and Glen is no where near their class.

Zamora has proved that he is good enough for the top flight but Ward never did sadly

It took Bobby a couple of years to make it in The Premier League. Wardy never quite made it with Forrest - I like the story when Cloughy stopped the bus on the motorway to make Wardy walk home because he had a bad game. Wardy ended back at Brighton during the 1982/83 season before he went off to star in the USA for Tampa Bay Rowdies.

Wardy was never quite the same after he was kicked up in the air for the whole game by Billy Bonds against WHU in a Division Two game in the 1978/79 season.
