Oh for goodness sake

I heard that DC United offered him a contract.

Just taking it seriously for a moment and trying to imagine Muzza in the Premiership. Good target man. Exceptional defensively and a good engine but would he score goals at that level (or more pointedly do I think Warnock would take a chance on him ahead of a striker proven at that level?). Even on a freebie and with no risk attached I don't see Neil Warnock as an Ian Holloway-esque type. I think he will go for more experience than Glenn offers. Certainly hope so as I think Glenn can perform for us in the Championship.

Murray being chased by (insert football club of your choice here)

Personally I'm more concerned about Bennett going.

To be fair Warnock did a similar thing at Sheff Utd when he signed Kazim-Richards. Wouldn't be at all surprised if Murray moves to a low Premier League club.

According to the BSometer on NSC and elsewhere I wonder if more or less than half of all professional teams are interested in him. Maybe it is time for a poll as to the number of clubs supposedly with an interest in Glenn Murray.

From what I hear Warnock will not be there next season anyway so the board are hardly likely to sanction that transfer

It's easier to do the clubs he won't be signing for:

Tiverton Town
Tiverton Town Reserves
Stirling Albion FC

errr.. I think that's about it.

Ha Ha Ha - Glen has just proved himself at last during the last 6 months after three years in League One after being challenged by Gus to be a 20 goal striker - he did not renew Glens contract like he did for Adam and Elliott before Christmas. Glen will have to prove himself in The championship before he gets a shot at the Premier League. Even Wardy and Zamora initilally struggled to prove themselves in the top flight and Glen is no where near their class.

QPR could pay Messi's wages, you think they are chasing unproven league 1 strikers? Cms maybe because he is in a totally different league to murray.

Could be a wise move for Warnock , sign Muzza on a 3 year contract but then loan him out next season and then have him available for 2 seasons when QPR return to the Championship.
