No worries, and just in case - here is when it was removed:

There's something really weird going on here - on my laptop, post #23 which you have shown as a screen shot is timed at 11.32 - precisely one hour later! Still seems even weirder that someone was apparantly still able to see the link 5 or 6 hours later.
Oh well - time to watch the tele and laugh at Arteta! :)

I said many years ago, when people started to understand the Internet and it became very powerful that it is one of the best inventions ever created and also the most dangerous, some of the stuff on it should never be allowed.
It is a grooming heaven for paedophiles for example even though the police use it to catch them they are just the tip of a very big iceberg.

Definitely double-sided.

Pluses - NSC (of course), sensible social media, online information on travel/holidays, reviews of stuff, banking etc.

Negatives - a cesspit for racists, fraudsters, peddler’s of hate, sex offenders, bullies, liars …. all to have a field day. Plus many kids spend every waking hour glued to the smart phone.

Yep, I wasn't doubting you, just adding my own experience of that, today.

All said and done, it's an irrelevance to the horror of the event itself.

Yes, poor Arteta. :)

It' showing as 11.32 for me, too. But GB's edit to remove the video is also an hour later at 16:39. It was still viewable for at least a few hours after PotG had claimed he would remove it, because I saw it in his post and noticed myself how he hadn't removed it as he said he would.

First you picked on my post as if I was bullshitting for some reason (why would i do that?) and now you are going on and on about it and obviously beavering away to prove you're right. You know, it is ok to be wrong sometimes? Maybe relax a bit?

...... and so to a goodnight and good will to all from me!

For a second there I thought you were saying all those positives and negatives were related to NSC.

Most of this crazy shit seems to start in the US amongst the religious right wing loonies / white supremacists and then crosses the pond in a search for gullible / lonely / angry people. It seems all these cults are able to use social media to recruit / convert people without any repercussions. Surely now the authorities have to crack down on the way in which the internet and social media can be used for these purposes or these tragedies will just continue

FFS, some of you are arguing about posting times when five people (including a young child) have been murdered. :nono:

Most of this crazy shit starts with black kids killing black kids in our inner cities. Look at the death toll in Chicago every weekend. To blame it all on white supremacy and right wing religion is totally disingenuous.

Ignoring the ‘there’s none so blind, as those who will not see’, Davison has his gun licence revoked in December, only to have it reinstated last month, after attending an anger management course.

https://www.theguardian.com/uk-news...einstated-gunmans-firearms-licence-last-month

There needs to be serious reviews/reforms into gun licensing here. Who on earth would reinstate a licence to someone who’d had an anger management course?
Besides that, how did he get hold of a pump action shotgun?

So there are a lot of black kids in QAnon. But, hey, what do I know I'm just a white, East Coast liberal

From a gun shop, legally.
Pump action shotguns are available but limited (in the UK) to 3 cartridge capacity.
1 in the chamber ready to be fired
2 stored in the magazine

£150 cheapest online after a quick Google.

That's a separate issue. In the main, the inner city gun crime to which you refer isn't commited by ideologues radicalised online.

And, like it or not, the Venn diagram does seem to show some overlap between incellers, the alt-right, and Trump supporters. It's easy to see how Trump's "grab'em by the pussy" line would go down well with those who think women should be easily available to them.
