£3m - £3.5m. In the circumstances I'd take £3m.

How soon is now?
Thanks Liam, your transfer request has effectively saved our club the remainder of your contracted wages. This may affect the transfer fee a little, but not a great deal. Anything in the 3m ball park will be a good bit of business.
I think he's making a mistake in leaving, but his reasons for wanting to potentially play for GP again make sense, as does the expected personal financial gain. Good luck fella, I hope it works out for you

If his going ends up costing us a £120m Premiership promotion windfall then I'd value him at around £120m. Would be dreamland if they came down and we went up.

I would imagine it will be somewhere between undisclosed and undisclosed. Possibly with undisclosed add ons

£4m minimum plus a decent sell on clause - Gus is desperate and will agree to anything.

How much did palarse offer in the summer?
How much are sunderland reported to be offering now?
Given that fees are usually inflated in the January window they should at least pay the palace offer plus some.

My guess is the fee should be £2.5 to £3m but if the deal is - as reported - back loaded (low up front fee with most of the money in add-ons so bugger all if/when they get eelegated) it is no deal IMO.
Do you really think we would have a add on based on Sunderland staying up! I would be surprised and disappointed if we did. I think if anything the sell on clause would be loaded, as the chances are Poyet will soon become bored of not being the Chelsea manager and move on, and I could see Bridcutt following him around like a lost dog. I think an appearance based add on, with a sell on as a back up will be the way it goes.

I think his true value is between £2-£3m, but the Poyet factor may just push it up a little. I would be happy with between £2.5 and £3m

Liam bridcutt is completely over rated.
He's great at what he does, but what he does isn't great. A very very limited player.
His style of play is simply not conducive to winning football matches, unless he's playing with a gazza-like attacking midfielder. He isn't at brighton, and he won't be at Sunderland.
I wouldn't pay more than £750k for him, but I'd imagine he'll go for a lot more. Maybe 2.5.
Rohan ince is a far more exciting prospect, as he can attack too.

I suspect what you mean is that his style of play is not conducive to scoring lots of goals. But as for winning games, well we won quite a few last year, and the year before, and the year before that when we won the championship with Bridcutt as the main man in front of our back 4. Not conceding goals helps win games too!

Agree that Ince could potentially go further than Bridcutt though.

Radio Sussex reporting that Sunderland have upped their offer to £2.3m. Not enough IMO
