I read stuff on the Big Board. Simple as that. I think it would be better without the political threads. I sometimes miss more interesting threads that disappear down the big board to be replaced by people trying to convert us all. Perhaps if we lose the political threads we might lose the more confrontational posters. Just a thought.
You 'read stuff', then decide you want it moved? How bizarre.
As for missing threads, isn't that solved by simply scrolling down until you find one that interests you?

I would say either keep all politics topics here or get rid of all of them, I find it really odd that we have a Trump thread but the Biden thread was moved to Bear pit. I find it weird that we have threads about that scumbag Alex Jones on the Big Board but Insulate Britain protests are moved to Bear pit. What is the classification? It's weird.

When childish tit for tat arguments and insults take hold of the thread.

The problem is that the Bear Pit threads are all an absolute disgrace.

I can't see how putting, say, the future thread for "General Election 2022 / 2023 / 2024" in the poison pit is in any way a great thing to do.

A Politics sub forum might be OK for it, but the Bear Pit ? What a shame.

Is there an option for physically filtering out those topics that those special people don't want to see, over and above the stonking great label slapped on the thread title?
Jeez! :wozza:
In an ideal world surely it is then possible for a user to have an option which automatically prevents threads tagged as [Politics] to even appear to them ?

There must be a plug in to do this without any doubt ?

I don't mind either way. I have learnt to just not get into political discussion on here. They invariably degenerate into a slanging match which neither party changes their entrenched views.

My political leaning is different to the majority on here (I voted for Brexit and would again).

That's a fair post, and I obviously didn't vote that way, but I wouldn't wish for those that voted for the catastrophe to be relegated to the Bear Pit, along with the majority in here.
Personal choice is a wonderful thing - long may it continue.

It's probably possible, yes - but is it really necessary? There are threads I see most days on here and I just scroll past them - it ain't difficult and I certainly don't see it as a problem.
I'm with you on this, but for those who can't or don't want to do that

It seems to me that if there is a feature or add on in this new wizzy software we have, that allows you to not see certain topics when viewing the Main Board, every NSC member would be happy and there would never be another disagreement on here
