In a bad way (because ordinarily I like mournful music) I'd nominate - A Whiter Shade of Pale.

To me it sounds like a funeral dirge and I hate it with a passion. Having just briefly researched it's history out of curiosity, I now realise why. It's because I can't bloody get away from it! Which is how it's always felt.

Wikipedia says:

It was the most played song in the last 75 years in public places in the UK (as of 2009),[7] and the United Kingdom performing rights group Phonographic Performance Limited in 2004 recognised it as the most-played record by British broadcasting of the past 70 years.

Now that is ****ing depressing!
