I was really bored one weekend and went to see Kiki Dee. I left after about 30 minutes though.

I've seen STEPS, GARETH GATES, CRAIG DAVIG and HEARSAY at party in the park. Oh, and Louise Redknapp too.

Hell, that's not embarassing, it's BRILLIANT. Bobby Zamora even made a cameo appearance!:bowdown:

Realistically though, seeing Lulu, Blue and Liberty X at the new Dean Court probably wins:D

Hang about. I saw Cilla Black on central pier Blackpool back in the 60's.

On a positive note the bars at uni are always cheap!

:D Indeed! The Cheeky Girls were met with a chorus of boos and there were some flying (plastic) pint 'glasses' when they had finished.

To be perfectly honest, Chesney was fantastic and did a great set. Certainly a very talented musician as was his father.

Sailor.

A mate thought they were the greatest thing since The Beatles, so I dragged my feet along in sympathy. Shite, pure shite.

Still, I got revenge, and dragged him to 'The Eagles accountants and investments firm' at Wembley Stadium. And oh my WORD the latest stuff I've heard from them has been UTTER crap! Don Henley ought to be put out of his manufactured misery.

Its all about what you like and what you dont. Personally I think the current Eagles Album is excellent, back to the days of "On the Border", butNMH and i never agree with anything so that is ok!

Back to the thread title.....Man ( welsh band ) at the dome, 1976 odd was bloody awful followed close by Tangerine Dream, 1977 at teh Dome which was truly horrendous experience.

Nik Kershaw at the Centre was bizzare as was ASWAD.

there you go then.

I thought Man's sound system was terrible and they were out of tune for most of the concert...Tangerine Dream were just hilarious...remember the farmyard song? " we are sheep....baaaaaa"

did you see Blue Oyster Cult at the Centre...I have never taken any form of drugs, but I came out high as a kite from all the wakky bakky in the air that night!!!!

They looked like a fun bunch of chaps on their album cover.

Raging Speedhorn at the theatre in the middle of Redhill - organised as my revenge for a friend taking me to Gary Numan. Having spent all evening getting there (thanks to a train jumper at South Croydon) we were the oldest there by about 30 years and about ten people watched them play seven tracks - sound was absoutely awful and we took hours to get home again afterwards.

(seen them before and since and awesome both times)

I was so embarassed about making my friend spend the evening travelling to watch that garbage that I keep going to see Gary Numan (who we are going to see in Manchester on the evening of the Carlisle game).

Embarassing to watch - Technotronic supporting Madonna at Wembley Stadium.

Embarassing for me - either Beverley Craven or Celine Dion (can't remember which) with the Corrs as support
