[TV] Mortimer and Whitehouse - gone fishing

Me too, I adore it, but it seems they have almost run out of things to talk about, that we don’t already know.

Maybe an injection of a guest would be a good idea.
That's what old gits do and it's charming, change is for the young and new input would dilute what I find so appealing. All down to personal opinions tbf.

Your right, I’m just not as enthralled anymore, they fish, Bob jumps about like a kid in sweet shop, falls over…
And they haven’t in this series had a moment when they chat about stuff that’s interesting or gets your cogs whirring..

It started because Bob had just had a massive heart operation and needed to be a bit more active so Paul would teach him to fish and Bob would cook something "heart healthy". A lot of the laughs as well as more serious conversations that men just don't have would come out of that but they don't seem to even do that any more which is a shame because it probably raised awareness in men of their age.

Still watchable, but not compulsive viewing any longer. A comfy cardi.

One thing that struck me and Mrs Couldn't Be Hyypia is the music. They have gone very "Homes Under the Hammer" with very literal music choices illustrating each scene/point. Not sure they need to trowel it on that much.
