Why expect better he is and certainly come over as a huge prize runtExpected more from Wilder, anyone with a modicum of intelligence regarding the subject, can see it’s a straight red 100 times out of 100, regardless of the timing in the context of 90 minutes, whether it’s a home or an away player.
I interviewed him on the wireless when he briefly played for us in 1999, thought he was a decent bloke. Why expect better he is and certainly come over as a huge prize runt
He's proved time and time again he isn't. He's odious at best.I interviewed him on the wireless when he briefly played for us in 1999, thought he was a decent bloke.
Wilder and Sheff Utd deserve each other. They can xxxx off back to the Championship together
I’m going to be generous. CW is a proud Yorkshireman, an even prouder blade, and has inherited a mess beyond his powers to change. He’s clearly hurting deep inside therefore, yet has to do these stupid post match interviews which must feel humiliating after being thumped so regularly. He’s probably doing and saying what nearly all of us would also do in same circumstances. And yes, he’s lost the plot somewhat too but then I can also understand why.
They must have a media officer. Who could advise against knee-jerk bitching post match and filling silences with endless minutes of cliches.
I think I can. I think he’s thought “I’m going to hurt him”.1: WTF is Holgate looking at/where is he looking? I can't figure out what he was thinking/intending.
2: Thank GOD, KM's leg wasn't planted, otherwise it could have easily been curtains for at least the rest of the season.

How the actual f*** can anyone defend that.1: WTF is Holgate looking at/where is he looking? I can't figure out what he was thinking/intending.

Yep and to our credit when Andone did something similar not only did we acknowledge how bad it was, he never played for us again.2 independent commentary channels and the bbc each described the tackle as “horrific”, or worse.
Obviously we’re all Albion, but how could anyone not condemn that ‘challenge’?
This is what I have been wondering, is there a mechanism to increase the penalty? It's a different system for Aussie Rules there are no penalties for fouls during the game. All fouls are reported to a tribunal, plus the tribunal scrutinises tv footage for stuff the umpires missed, charges are then laid. Match bans are given depending on the severity of the foul. The use of TV footage to lay charges after the game really cleaned up the sport. So what happens now?
Is it just a straight 3 match ban?
Or does a panel decide the length of the ban based on the severity of the challenge and previous incidents involving the player?
Hope it’s the latter and they throw the book at the ****.
I'm sure Dyche called him at 5.00 and said "well done agent Holgate, another successful mission"
