The window system seems to just be introduced for the drama

All it's done is increase prices of players as you have a limited time to buy/sell

Plus it's absolutely insane to have a window for League 1 and lower, the loan market is a must for these clubs with small budgets and as previously mentioned income through selling

Totally agree. It also means clubs have to stockpile players in large squads to get through the season. Still convinced it’s a restraint of trade!

I found it a bit unnerving. You can see why players make odd decisions. Quite often the player finds themselves in a room surrounded by four or five people (usually middle aged men in suits) telling what to do. It is like the player works for the agent rather than the player appointing an agent. Players need a strong family around them.

I'm guessing that Moises won't down tools and go on a full on strop if valuation isn't met and he stays until end of season. Only 21 and still learning so maybe his advisers more at fault rather than, himself? Whether he knuckles down and gets on with it until the summer or throws a hissy fit remains to be seen. 1 things for sure is Brighton are bigger than any player and the club will do what's right for them as appears this morning. We'll never stop the big boys trying to cherry pick our talent but we won't just buckle to a player demanding a move(or their agents) just because they think they can! Basically it means that last night the bookies thought that if this scenario played out 6 times he would stay at Brighton 1 of them. Now they think he stays 7 out of 10.

It is not quite that simple because the odds will be linked to bets placed so maybe it is more about general sentiment than what the bookies think.

I’d take the clubs stance……and keep him away until after Tuesday. .chances are he’ll be back next Saturday especially with AL out injured and AM suspended

The markets last night piled on money that he would be at Arsenal by next week.

Now predicting that he'll remain ours.

Not all hissy fits are equal. Trossard’s value monetarily and to the team was waning. MC is the opposite. It should be at its peak for us in the summer. He wont be going anywhere in the next few days unless a peak level + compensation is met. I also wouldn’t bet he’ll end up at Arsenal. He’s a world class talent and we know it.

I've stopped guessing about players characters now.

2 weeks ago he said he was happy here. And looking forward to getting us into Europe.

New agents and a come and get me plea via social media a bit later, after less than one season. It's hard to ignore the reality that the vast majority of players are absolute helmets.
