Now will people believe MC appointing new agents is / was bad news ?
Amazing isn't it, the naivety of some people (or just the sticking their heads in the sand to try and ignore what's in front of them)

"This doesn't mean he wants a move. Maybe he just wants a better contract or didn't get on with the previous agents"

Sigh.

look the situation is that we don't want to sell and probably couldn't replace him now anyways. so I'm not concerned about us rolling over an accepting a lower amount. but I will be seriously, seriously gutted and very displeased if he starts trying to force a move. I hope he's better than that
The only statement from him barely a week ago, suggests he is very much better than that and wants to repay the faith in the club who opened doors for him. Everything else seems totally made up or dirty agents. I wouldn’t bother with it - just go on what he says for now as it’s fact…

Brighton factually.....
This is exactly what I hate about the Premier League, the big six or seven now, see any threat or talent and just pick your team apart.
The money that they generate for the media, and the whores that circle high in the sky swooping down to attack from height sowing seeds of doubt, spewing bullshite, and finally incircle a carcass picking it too pieces.

I do wonder what the point is of assembling over time a club that can challenge for it to inevitably be ransacked and whimper back down the table, eventually dropping down the leagues.

b...b..but he said he was focused on Brighton in his interview....which I took as "I'm not not leaving. I'll never leave. I love you all. Don't worry, I'll stay with the lower team on less money"

WHY WOULD HE LIE

Agree. But i do get worried, naturally, as a passionate fan.

yes we have go with what he's said so far, there's been nothing to indicate he's got less than excellent character.

I'd be lying if I said I wasn't worried though, can deal with people leaving but not if it's not done in the right way

I'm pretty sure the new agent has been in touch with journalists who like spreading these stories around. I'd like to think TB will hold the player to his contract if he doesn't want to sell, agent or no agent. If the player goes on strike at his new agent's suggestion - like Trossard or that numpty Gordon at Everton -, let him train back with the u-21s for the rest of the season and see how much he enjoys that. I seem to remember us rejecting a transfer request from a certain Lewis Dunk in 2016 and that worked out okay in the end.

Reluctantly I think we should accept £60m for his right leg from Arsenal. If Chelsea want to bid £60m for the other one then they could fight it out between themselves.

I always have that too - believe me - without doubt. But the more people on here repost the stuff that’s probably tosh, the more people believe it or panic.

I just can’t see him going in this window and he’s said as much himself.

Have to say i do agree. But, its easy to think like that when we are a bit stressed and thinking negatively.

Fantastic NSC binfest! All we really know is that a week ago he said how grateful he was to Brighton and how happy he is playing every week. He also added that our club is the best place for him right now. A few clickbaits on Twitter and the crap hits the fan. NSC at its best!

David Ornstein isn't really one to be filed under clickbait to be fair. If he says a bid has been rejected then I'm pretty sure it has.
