Great comparison. Moises already plays like a top of his game Carrick. Say what you like about MC (I think he was really decent) but that's high praise about someone who is only 21.
Carrick had little pace.

Caicedo has pace, power and is a destroyer.

It's the driving the game forward thing ... A defensive midfield player who's skill is to create ... Beautiful footballers

Love Biss but he just stopped teams.

Caicedo and Carrick are/were players who get the ball and put the other team in trouble in a heartbeat.

Exactly.

Before the WC there were player heat maps online, I posted them on nsc, showing Caicedo 18 yard line to opposition 18 yard line on the left, Mac A on the right. Bossing the opposition, almost impossible to mark, creating.

He's gone. We're desperate to get rid. Dropped £20m from the asking price apparently. Such a shame....

**** it.

Just as he was getting really good!

I suppose we should just be grateful that #teamslikeliverpool are interested in our players. Still, we’ve had a year or so of him to enjoy but he is just too good for us.

I imagine when he hands in his transfer request to TB on Monday, we might knock another £20m off the price, just to get the deal done so that we’ll have money to buy his replacement.

If he is still with us next Saturday, I think it would be deeply disrespectful of RDZ to play him against Liverpool. Let’s wrap him up in cotton wool and get him to Anfield ASAP for whatever fee they deem appropriate.

He is clearly a problem now and downed tools so perhaps we should actually pay Liverpool to take caicedo and Trossard? It seems the only option to me.

Mind-bogglingly ridiculous. There never was an 'asking price' for Caicedo - and even if there was, why on earth would we suddenly slash £20M off it?
Especially as apparantly we don't want to sell him anyway ............................

Having said that, of and when he does go - OK, when he does go - I'd rather he went to a decent club like Liverpool than the likes of Chelsea.

I’m surprised we have the nerve to even demand that, surely we should just be happy to get back what we paid.

Where do the papers come up with this tripe

Classic lying tabloids.

No moves yet by Liverpool and written by a thick as shit hack delusional over Caicedo’s value.

Absolutely, we need to do this deal ASAP. Time is of the essence. Not worth hanging on for. Has to go

I'd say every game he plays he is adding another few million to his value. He's that good and his ceiling is that high. If he has a stormer against Liverpool i really don't see how you could argue with him being worth 100 million. He is 21 for goodness sake and can seemingly do anything.

I love how the press know our 'asking price's. Sure we are much more 'make an offer and when we have stopped laughing you can have another go'

The dull part of the south coast
The Boehly "strategy" is to basically read the BBC Gossip column and see which player is mentioned most over a week and whack in a silly money bid.

"Arsenal want Mudryk? Now I want Mudryk!"
"Liverpool want Caicedo? Now I want Caicedo!"

It's the strategy pf a 5 year old, not a serious football club
I wonder if that was Boehly’s strategy in appointing Potter. Cast your mind back to September Potter was linked with becoming the next England manager, let alone being touted for several PL clubs. The question is does Potter have any say in who Chelsea bring in or is he now just a gofer for Boehly?
