Hey, Man U...............
The Manchester paper liked his performance for the 23's yesterday.

I watched the last hour and there was a big improvement over his previous performance. Not everything is coming off for him, but he likes a tackle and moves the ball well. I didn't spot any of the clumsy slide tackles from his previous appearance, which suggests he could be a fast learner.
Young Ferguson should have scored late on with a header he put wide, but another real prospect given his age.
It’s interesting to speculate on how many U23 games this lad will need. I’d be shocked if a teenager from Ecuador could perform in the EPL straight out of the box but if Biss is off in the Summer and we’re more or less safe in May, we might see him if he continues this arc of progress.

Played the full 90 for Ecuador in their 2-1 defeat against Peru.
Rated 7/10 on Sofascore
6/6 ground duels won
5/7 aerial duels won
59/64 (92%) passing accuracy
An analysis of Moises Caicedo's qualities and what he's likely to bring to The Albion.
There are a couple of paragraphs that may explain why he hasn't been trusted yet to start last season when we were in a relegation battle for most of the time.
However there are clearly many top qualities mentioned that have made him so highly rated and in demand.
Hopefully his English learning is progressing along with ironing out the mentioned possible weaknesses.
"He is, however, sometimes too eager to press, and can therefore lose track of the player behind him. When he does so he risks undermining his team’s defensive organisation, and allowing the opposition to create a passing lane into midfield.
He also needs to improve the way he positions his body when attempting tackles, so that he gets closer to the ground, lowers his centre of gravity, and faces the direction he wants to draw his opponent towards when making a step or slide tackle. When engaging in aerial battles, he commonly attempts to anticipate his opponent’s next move and to use that to his advantage instead of directly competing for the ball in the air, where he is unconvincing."

Looks like he had a great game vs Chile the other night. Very Bissoumaesque at times, but perhaps with a more accurate shot?
