I watched the last hour and there was a big improvement over his previous performance. Not everything is coming off for him, but he likes a tackle and moves the ball well. I didn't spot any of the clumsy slide tackles from his previous appearance, which suggests he could be a fast learner.

Young Ferguson should have scored late on with a header he put wide, but another real prospect given his age.

It’s interesting to speculate on how many U23 games this lad will need. I’d be shocked if a teenager from Ecuador could perform in the EPL straight out of the box but if Biss is off in the Summer and we’re more or less safe in May, we might see him if he continues this arc of progress.

Hopefully his English learning is progressing along with ironing out the mentioned possible weaknesses.

One tackling technique, I have seen him use a couple of times in a block tackle, is really effective (it just isn't going to sound it from the description, I am about to give). For example if a player is trying to go past him front on, via Moises' right side, he will cross his left leg over and block the ball with the outside of his left foot. The tackle is angled, so if the ball goes up in the tackle it hits his leg, rather than going over the foot. Any contact with the player is chest on. The opponent just hits a solid wall and there is no trailing leg to dive over.

I guess you will probably have to see it to have an idea what I am going on about, so please keep an eye out for this one.
