Market rate for players in this league.

Complete horsesh#t. If it was a market half the teams would pack up and leave the industry.

Be honest. Say wages are inflated but until there is a collective agreement we have to accept the status quo. We aren't brave enough to make a stand on our own.

Where to start?

Use of the following phrases:
Wide areas
A coming together
tagging Football Club onto the name of any club often multiple times in the same sentence.

The majority of the above not because they're technically wrong but simply because the media, and in particular Sky Sports News has allowed a bunch of under qualified semi literate otherwise unemployable individuals to make a no doubt very lucrative living from making up terminology to make themselves sound more intelligent.

Oh and while we're on that topic Geoff Shreves. What a tool.

Abort, retry, fail
World Class.

When has someone like Rooney shown that over a prolonged period?

I do chuckle when I hear journos stating that he should move on as a world class player shouldn't play second fiddle...

What even is world class? Theoretically playing for your team internationally is enough to be 'world class', no?
