We don't exactly help the team out though. The only time you hear any noise at the Withdean is moaning and abuse dished out to our own players. Brighton fans are rubbish. Support is not something we do at all. Our attendances are a disgrace and the vitriolic attacks on our own side make it a pretty horrible place to spend a couple of hours. If we were filling Withdean, getting behind the side and showing some real support and encouragement, then maybe the players would be inspired to play for the shirt. As it is, who on earth would be driven to play for our fans? This is the time when we are needed the most.

Agreed - It was noticable when just after half time, Tommy Elphick tried to get the fans to be more vocal and get behind the team, and all they got in return was a second half of moaning and complaining and anxiety, which has a negative affect on players and makes them play worse not better, yet they will come out with the excuse they use all season that they have paid their entrance money so they should be entitled to moan, footballers are professionals and should be able to cope etc etc etc..

There is absolutely no reason why fans never got behind the team this season, and it's disgusting how little vocal support there has been all season.
