I, too, have now lost all confidence in Mark McGhee, and agree that it's time for him to go. Whoever replaces him would struggle to do a worse job. McGhee appears to lack the ability to motivate the team and his tactics are virtually non-existant. His dealings in the transfer market also leave much to be desired. I would be surprised if we signed anyone in the transfer window and without fresh blood we are only heading in one direction........League 1. Let's hope that Dick Knight wakes up and smells the coffee in the near future.

and who comes in to replace mcghee?

Yes we should support the team because funny enough that what supporters do.

Take the rough with the smooth. The team are not good enough for this league at the moment. take out the injuries and suspensions then that leaves us no one at all

We will be back once we get a decent ground and can compete with the teams in this league

I'm behind the players of brighton 100%, and will cheer them as much as the next man. It's the managers tactics and man management skills I'm worried about.

If your boss said your a liability and and can't be trusted then put you in a major conference (or similar) to promote the company would you be willing to put in the effort?

Evening Zeb. You know that I have not wanted to get despondent over this season, but it's finally got to that time.

Back to work tomorrow, really looking forward to it...NOT!

It is not up to us to decide who comes in next - it's DKs job to hire and fire. It's a pretty poor argument saying that as I can't name the next person in that we should keep MM. We have taken the rough with the smooth, and everyone comes to the end of their natural career - perhaps MMs time is now?

Hi W. I know how you feel. Some action is now required but I doubt we'll see any. Not back in office until Friday. Feeling low at the moment but at least Victoria O & G are doing well.

I think we need someone who is young and has new ideas. MM has run his course, he's forever making changes and doesn't seem to know his best team.

He seems to have lost at least part of the dressing room, with our no.1 forward dropped completely.

I'm totally fed up, but that makes me no less a supporter. I'd like to try to avoid the rough, I've had enough of it.

Lets get rid of him now and maybe have some fun with a new man in charge, at the moment we are going down, so I don't think there much to lose.

We have dropped faster than a sky jumper without a parachute.

Sureely you need to reach a great height before you can have "dropped faster than a sky jumper without a parachute." When was this great height exactly? About 18th after beating Plymouth perhaps, or do you mean 1981/2 under Mike Bailey?

We are a bottom 6 team, no doubt about it, no surprises there. If anyone had offered us a finish of 4th from bottom at the start of the season we would have taken it. Well, we are not many points off that right now, so give the manager some support for FUCKS SAKE.

Nope. Low Altitude, Low Opening.

But seriously, we are falling down the division, are we waiting for a dead-cat bounce before deciding that maybe we should be cutting the chute and deploying a reserve?

Parachute terminology aside, how the f*** can we aim for fourth from bottom. Don't make me laugh. You want us to struggle down here then escape at the last minute again? Some Brighton fans seem to revel in how put-upon we are - yes we have had a pretty rollercoaster history, but we shouldn't have to keep beating ourselves over the head with how resilient we are, how we can overcome, how we can keep on bouncing back - we should be looking to grip the problem by the bollocks and sorting it out!

I am sick to death of theis treachery and disloyalty.

Dick Knight is NOT going to sack McGhee. FACT.
McGhee is NOT going to resign. FACT.
Therefore, by process of elimination, McGhee will be our manager at the end of the season and beyond. DEAL WITH IT.

When McGhee took on this job, he knew he had f*** all resources to work with, yet he took the job in good faith with his eyes wide open. He still has NO resources to work with. Getting Falmer has changed NOTHING. We have lost other good managers as a result of our predicament. But McGhee has hung on and showed loyalty when he could have walked away, especially from the moaning short-termist throw-cash-at-the-problem glory-hunters.

And what does he get for his loyalty? Abuse.

Some people on here should be f***ing ASHAMED of themselves.

Not the real one
Either Knight gives McGhee some cash or i think Mcghee will be off anyway. I can't believe people can't see that Mcghee has lost interest. All our problems have ground him down. McGhee could have stopped us losing today with a little shuffling and using subs wisely. Same with Millwall and loads of other games this season.

We're just not very good are we? Accept we're going down as usual from this division and won't compete before we get a board with at least £50M to spend(!). That's the reality of football these days. Might not make us a trophy-winning side but it'll cement us as a decent one that's not just depressing to watch struggle year in year out which is what we're all suffering from here.

Direct your anger at Lewes Council who's shinanigans will continue to prevent real investment. McGuee has had some bad signings but I believe he's still the best manager we've had for years. Remember, he's the only one to stay. But we definately need a clear out, especially upfront and in midfield. Lots of mediocre talent but nothing that scores goals.
