Genuinely makes me sad when I think of Jose. Seemed like such a lovely bloke, fun loving, had a micro pig in a flat, yet a bad injury ruined his career with us. Will always remember being behind the goal at Stoke when he scored one of the best goals I've seen live following the Albion. Just can't help thinking what the likes of Potter or RDZ could have coached his raw talent in to.

A mate of mine lives in Japan. He’s English and a pretty decent player in his time. He thinks Germany may be in for a bit of a shock in their first game in the WC.

Funnily enough, I just went to look up how old he is.

@Papa Lazarou and I were discussing how the Japanese market does feel relatively untapped. I know Celtic have seen some success drawing from there, but are there any other Japanese players in the Premier League right now?
There's loads in the Bundesliga. German scouts have been pillaging Japan for years. Secret's out now.

It's astonishing how easily he gets in behind, in really dangerous areas and then seems to have an age to pick out a pass.
Must have done it 4 or 5 times already.

He seems to be getting a great understanding with Leo over the last couple of games.
Hopefully they will be delivering a hatful of goals this season

I like the way Danny Murphy declared that he still can’t work out if Mitoma is right or left footed on MOTD.
