There has been enough fruitless river searching now to realise that she didn't fall in the water. She would have been found well before now, bloated and floating. All points to a self-induced disappearing act or abduction.
Disappearing act. Very tricky to pull off. You’d have to have special ops level knowledge to cover your planning, leave the area without being seen either by witnesses or cctv. You’d have had to organise money, accommodation and transport, that all leaves a footprint. It’s almost impossible to disappear these days.

That bloke with the canoe managed it. He even lived in his own house.

Head of SGI having to publicly explain he has no ‘ulterior motive’ for donating his and his company’s time for free due to a load of SM suggestions :nono: :nono:

I did post a link earlier that someone went in near the same spot at the same time of year 40 years ago and they didn’t find them for 2 months with the body eventually found 7miles down stream.

Chances are there would have been some tiny forensic clue of a scuffle if there had been an abduction ?

Ran off with her lover?
Ran off alone?
Crisis actors?

Bottom line is MSM will keep pumping it to create fear / emotive energy....then ppl are easier the control.

Do you know how many people die every minute?

Well, there is the fact he's just written and published a book about himself. So publicity not exactly unwelcome right now.
Really? You think his motivation is to sell a few more books?

I am surprised how much coverage this has had. Yes, very sad story but strange to be "Breaking News" all the time.

I agree. At what stage do they stop reporting on it?

I don't recall the Claudia Lawrence case or Andrew Gosden case getting any attention at the time. Both equally as baffling, perhaps more so. Andrew Gosden was also child.

It is a sad story, but why is this case reported on and not others?

SGI have only categorically said she’s not in ‘that section of the river’…..police are still working further downstream towards/in the estuary. Don‘t know that particular river but difficult to see how that would happen without significant flooding.

Not so sure - seems the most obvious explanation still to me. As soon as I heard it was next to a river that was the clear assumption and still is for me. Either way, would love her to be alive. I guess the police would have unearthed if she had mental health issues or an affair as others have suggested - and they still kept going with the river - still convinced she fell in.

I think broadcasters and news outlets have so much info. now on click throughs and what people are viewing / interested in that algorithms point them toward what news is going to be repeated and what isn't. Both of those cases you mention were 15 years ago, Twitter had barely even started, Facebook was still new, news coverage and how we consume news was very different.

Inclined to agree now.
My sons friend went missing the first week of 2020 lockdown, and hasn't been seen since. It made the local news for a few days, but despite some celebrities getting involved in online appeals, it never made headlines once nationally as far as I remember.

Baffling female white attractive kids middle class adoring husband…such cases always get more limelight. Surely you’ve noticed that down years?!
